PwC Channel Islands has announced four senior promotions across its Jersey and Guernsey offices. 

Chloe Hutt and Yash Pareima of PwC Jersey, and Milly Abbott and Joe McDermott of PwC Guernsey have been promoted to Directors in the firm’s audit team. 

Ms Hutt, originally from Australia, began her career with PwC CI in 2012 as a graduate after completing her Bachelor (Hons) in Accounting and Finance at Anglia Ruskin University. She brings a wealth of experience across sectors, including trust and fiduciary services; banking; private equity; and asset management. 

Mr Pareima, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, has over 13 years’ audit experience. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration specialising in Finance from Coventry University in 2014. 

Originally from Mauritius, Mr Pareima relocated to Jersey in 2015 and joined PwC CI as a Senior Associate. He has gained significant experience working with trust and corporate fund administrators; private equity firms; real estate entities; private debt institutions; and publicly traded companies.

Guernsey-based Mr McDermott studied chemistry at Imperial College London and achieved his Masters in 2013. He then joined PwC’s audit team, where he accumulated 12 years’ experience working with key banking, private equity and wealth management companies with operations in Guernsey, Jersey and London. 

Ms Abbott studied at the University of Sussex and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Her PwC career began in 2014 and includes a secondment to PwC Australia. Her extensive audit experience of alternative investment funds spans private equity and debt; infrastructure; and esoteric asset classes such as music royalty funds.
