Law firm Appleby has appointed Jane Smith as Group Chief Financial & Operating Officer. 

Based in Jersey, Ms Smith joined Appleby in 2010 and led the finance and operations division globally.

Ms Smith has more than 20 years’ experience in transforming and leading strategic operations and finance functions, according to Appleby.

She has provided advisory services to the government for financial laws and regulations, and previously held several roles working with leading fiduciary businesses.
