Three Mourant lawyers have been sworn in as Advocates in Jersey’s Royal Court.
Holly Thebault joined the firm’s Jersey Litigation team in 2018.
She was recognised as Jersey Finance Rising Star of the Year – Law in 2021.
Advocate Thebault was then awarded the Jersey Law Society prize for the highest mark on the law of contract paper in the 2020-2021 Jersey Law Course exams.
In 2024, Holly was listed in the Private Client Global Elite Directory in the Excellence category.
A member of the firm’s specialist Regulatory team, Jula Le Cornu joined Mourant’s Finance and Corporate practice in 2014.
She has been named as a Recommended Lawyer in Dispute Resolution – Regulatory and White-Collar Crime in the last three editions of leading independent guide Legal 500 UK.
Finally, Kiara Brennan joined Mourant’s Litigation team in 2022 – a role which has seen her work on a range of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on trust litigation.
Advocate Brennan previously worked within the Investment Funds team at Mourant, as well as in-house at a private equity firm in New York.
“Our firm’s continued success depends on a strong pipeline of exceptional talent, and it is inspiring to see talented colleagues like Holly, Jula and Kiara progressing their careers with Mourant,” said Managing Partner Daniel Birtwistle.
“I would like to congratulate all three on this latest career achievement.”
