It was an interesting start to our season in April 2025 with a move of location, along with the Visitor Information Centre, from the North Plantation to Market Street.
Not only was this a change in starting point, it meant our guides had to completely re-route and in some cases, re-write their town walks.
We all got used to our new home quickly though and the general consensus regarding the relocation has been a very positive one.
Just shy of 1000 walkers joined our accredited guides this season, with 123 people taking part in special Dutch-speaking tours, led by silver guide Ine Davies on Monday afternoons.
We are confident that with the Visitor Information Centre now well established in its new location, 2026 will prove to be an even more successful year.
Daily town walks will resume on April 1st 2026 and will run every day (apart from May 9th/Liberation Day) until 31st October.
All tours start outside the Visitor Information Centre at 10:30am, last approximately 1.5 hours and cost £10pp (under 12s go half price).
Ine’s Dutch tours will also be returning on Monday afternoons (dates/times TBC)
