Advocate named in Citywealth’s Power Women List

Advocate Barbara Corbett of Hanson Renouf is the only local family lawyer to feature in the 2014 IFC Power Women Top 200 list.

The release of this list coincided with Dispute Resolution Week, which aims to raise awareness of non-confrontational methods of resolving family breakdown, such as mediation, collaborative law and arbitration.

Advocate Corbett is a member of Resolution, as well as a qualified collaborative lawyer, specialist children’s lawyer and is both a family and a civil and commercial mediator. 

She is the only practitioner in Jersey who is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and the first – and only - family arbitrator in the Island.
