Brooks Macdonald has appointed James Surcouf as an Investment Manager in its Channel Islands offices, based in Jersey.
At Brooks Macdonald, Mr Surcouf will be responsible for building client relationships and managing discretionary portfolios for the firm’s range of globally diverse intermediary clients.
With over 15 years’ experience in the international financial services industry, he joins from HSBC Global Asset Management (International) in Jersey, where he worked for more than twelve years and most recently held the position of Discretionary Wealth Manager.
As well as holding the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management and the Investment Management Certificate, he is also a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). In addition, he is a member of the CFA Society of the UK.
