Channel Islands' wellbeing leaders revealed

Tuesday 10 November 2020

A virtual event has revealed this year's Channel Islands leaders in wellbeing, as the climax of Global Leaders in WellBeing week.

Taking place last Friday, it saw organisations like Ogier, Deloitte, and Accuro Trust awarded for their efforts in ensuring staff wellbeing.

Leaders in Wellbeing Founder, Beverly Le Cuirot, said: “Feedback suggests that people realistically don’t have the time to sit and listen to online conferences during the working day at the moment and therefore we wanted to create an entirely flexible format which would allow the delegates to watch when it suits them.

“The recordings were released each day during the week, and will remain available for the delegates to enjoy until at least the end of 2020. Initial feedback from Summit delegates indicates that this was most definitely the right thing to do.

“The Awards ceremony was also something we looked at long and hard in order to preserve the excitement of a live event, without taking people away from their desks for too long.

“Together with our technical partners, Delta Events and Harry King, we created individual films for each of the Awards and rolled these out at intervals on the Summit website, across social media, and to the Winners for them to use for their own publicity."

Richard Clarke, MD of Rossborough Healthcare, the Leaders in WellBeing Awards 2020 sponsor commented: “As we take stock of 2020 and feel the effects of a second wave of covid-19 and the concern this brings, these Awards are timely to celebrate the individuals and organisations that have come together and provided services and solutions to help promote and safeguard wellbeing and mental health in the workplace.

“We are proud to be supporting these Awards and those who have won, as well as all of those who have been nominated.”
