Cricket Board appoints new CEO

The Jersey Cricket Board has appointed Craig Meredith to replace Chris Minty as Chief Executive Officer, as he retires after 15 years in the post.
Mr Meredith has worked with the Jersey Cricket Board over the last few years as a sports therapist and team manager.
He has also consulted with a multitude of sporting bodies both locally and nationally and has over 20 years’ experience with a wide range of athletes at all levels.
The Board thanked Mr Minty for "his years of hard work and constant support to cricket in Jersey," saying he leaves Jersey Cricket "in a very strong position to move forward."
Commenting on Mr Meredith's appointment they added: "Craig brings progressive, inclusive and innovative strategies and will be a great asset to the future of the Jersey Cricket Board."
