Viberts’ litigation partner, Advocate Christina Hall, has been appointed as a Crown Advocate.
Her nomination to the role reflects her experience as a litigation lawyer, according to the firm.
Christina said: “I’m honoured to be given this responsibility and I look forward to representing the Attorney General.”
This appointment makes it a double celebration after Advocate Hall successfully defended her client, Italian businessman Mr Caruso, in the largest fraud case ever heard before Jersey’s Royal Court.
He was found not guilty of a conspiracy to commit a $20 billion fraud.
