Deutsche Bank’s Fund Services (FS) business has appointed Kelly Gouveia as a Vice President and Head of its Trustee business in Jersey.

The Fund Services business in Jersey is a full fund service provider, providing third party fund administration, trustee and transfer agency services to Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate and Fund of Fund managers. The Fund Services business today services over USD200bn of assets globally.

In her new role, Ms Gouveia will be responsible for ensuring that the Trustee function for the fund services business in Jersey is effectively managed, governed and compliant with local legislation and regulation as laid out by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.  She will also evaluate prospective new business and provide guidance on designated trustee responsibilities for new structures and assist the wider ‘EMEA’ (Europe, Middle East and Africa) depositary team where required. 

She has a strong background in compliance and her previous roles have included Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Compliance Officer, (MLCO), Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), data protection and ethics within the hedge fund and real estate sectors.
