Viberts are offering free 30 minute clinics to Islanders who think they may have a personal injury, clinical negligence or industrial disease claim.
Typical claims include accidents at work or outside of work, asbestos-related illness and road traffic accidents.
Corinne Holmes, who specialises in personal injury at Viberts, wants to encourage more people to come forward if they think they might be entitled to compensation.
She said: “Many people sit on a potential personal injury claim; unsure of the process and if it’s worth the time, cost and admin to pursue. People often don’t realise, for example, that they have 3 years to bring a claim after the incident occurred, with some exceptions.
"In reality, we only need to ask a few key questions in order to establish whether someone may have a valid case or not. The 30 minute sessions are designed to remove the initial barrier of cost and cover these key questions.”
The clinics are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 4-5.30pm at Viberts’ offices on Don Street.
Bookings can be made in advance via the Viberts website, or you can turn up on the day.
