Elian has won a top industry award for its rebrand following the management buyout from Ogier.
The administration company beat strong competition to win the WealthBriefing European 2015 award for a brand launch or re-launch. Judges said they were most impressed by the effective nature of Elian’s re-launch, its speed in creating brand impact in a short space of time and the level of employee engagement – the name was chosen by a staff member.
Elian’s CEO, Paul Willing, said: "It is a great honour to be recognised in these prestigious awards; our win is testament to the hard work that the team have put in over the last 12 months. The Elian brand has clear values, which are underpinned by a commitment to provide the highest level of client service. We had a strong launch campaign, and we pride ourselves on the great reputation and skills of our team. We are now focusing on building brand recognition across our industry and in all of our jurisdictions."
Showcasing ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the awards are designed to recognise companies, teams and individuals. An expert panel of judges from both private banks and trusted advisors, supported by third-party specialists, chose the winners. Channel 5’s Emma Crosby presented the awards during a gala black-tie dinner at the Guildhall in the City of London on 30 April.
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all of the winners. He said: "The firms who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards were judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which had to be answered focusing on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognise the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management. I am optimistic that these annual awards will become one of the brightest highlights in the wealth management calendar."
