The Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) has launched its eighth annual search to identify the Island’s top leaders across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
Nominations for the 2017 Jersey Director of the Year Awards, sponsored by Appleby and HSBC, are open until Friday 10th February.
Anyone can submit a nomination in the six different categories, which include:
Chris Clark, IoD Jersey Chairman, said: "Our annual Awards continue to go from strength to strength, with some absolutely outstanding people from across the business, public and voluntary sectors being successful in previous years. A number have also gone on to be recognised at a national level at the IoD’s UK Awards, reflecting the high calibre of leaders we are fortunate to have locally. I am delighted that our long-term supporters Appleby continue to be our Gold Sponsor and I am also pleased to welcome HSBC as our Silver Sponsor this year.”
Michael Cushing, Jersey Managing Partner at Gold Sponsor Appleby, added: “Appleby has long recognised the importance of encouraging and supporting strong leadership in our local community and has been heavily involved in supporting these unique awards in Jersey since 2010. With the nominations now open, I would encourage anyone who values strong leadership to think about nominating someone they know who has made a real difference through their ability and hard work.”
