Friday 05 August 2016

AFM has appointed Niall McClure as its new Operations Director.

He joins the AFM board of directors and will be based in Jersey.

Mr McClure, the former Managing Director at G4S Facilities Management (Offshore Islands), will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Jersey business.

"My overall purpose will be to empower colleagues to deliver great customer service, safely and with passion.  My aim is to create conditions at every level so that people know what is happening and can take responsibility to act," said Mr McClure.

Mr McClure, who is the deputy Chairman of the British Institute of Facilities Management and Chairman of Jersey’s Crimestoppers Trust, spent 23 years working for mono consultants, formerly known as James Barr, carrying out general practice surveying and developing mobile phone base station sites. He has also worked as a business development director at Alfred McAlpine and business excellence leader at Compass Group.

AFM Managing Director, Mark Edgar, said: "At AFM we are focused on growing the business and improving our services at all times. Niall’s extensive experience in facilities management will be a huge benefit to AFM and will help us achieve our aims. I would like to welcome him to the team."
