Geoff Cook to speak on next series of executive director events

Geoff Cook, Chief Executive Officer at Jersey Finance, will present on the topic ‘Mapping the future’ at a director-specific training seminar, the highlight event of Jersey International Business School’s executive support series Club (N)ED.

Delivered by top industry speakers, the series comprises eight training and networking events that have been designed to equip directors with the information and expertise they need to remain fully effective in the boardroom, as well as being technically proficient in compliance with their regulatory obligations.

Seminars will include:

• Doug Bannister, group chief executive officer, Ports of Jersey, presenting ‘Leading complex stakeholder situations’

• Richard Urban, independent non-executive director, discussing ‘Lessons learnt from investing in real estate across the cycle’

• John Everett, director of funds and fiduciary, Jersey Financial Services Commission, speaking on ‘The challenges of regulation’

The highlight event featuring Geoff Cook will include lunch at Longueville Manor and is available exclusively to full Club (N)ED Members.
