Advocate Helen Ruelle has joined Ogier as the firm's new Director of Local Legal Services.

Advocate Ruelle is a prominent employment lawyer, and was a partner and head of Mourant Ozannes' Jersey employment law team during a 16-year career at the firm.

Her new role will involve developing and co-ordinating Ogier's local service areas that span property, corporate, employment and regulatory law.

Ogier's Global Managing Partner Edward Mackereth said: "Helen is a lawyer with an outstanding reputation in the local market and we are very pleased to welcome her aboard.

"With her experience across a range of areas including employment, data protection and competition, she is the perfect addition to take on this new strategic role of Director of Local Legal Services."
