Broadcaster Natasha Kaplinsky will host this year’s Jersey Business Awards for Enterprise gala evening in June.
Ms Kaplinsky, well known as a presenter of ITV news programmes, as well as a vast range of other network television programmes on BBC and Channel 5, will host the awards at Fort Regent on 13 June.
As well as news broadcasting, Ms Kaplinsky has co-hosted BBC Breakfast and Children in Need, and has presented the Proms and New Year Live. She also has the distinction of winning the first series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Jersey Business chief executive Andy Cook said: “We are delighted that Natasha Kaplinsky has agreed to host this year’s Jersey Business Awards for Enterprise gala evening. The event is the most important celebration of business and enterprise in Jersey and to have someone of Natasha’s standing and reputation to guide us through the evening is a real honour. With a strong field of candidates for the award categories, it promises to be a very exciting evening.”
