Jersey Post Group has appointed a new team member to lead its Human Resources department.
Aimee Tønsberg has joined the team as Human Resources Director.
After 18 years working for the Government of Jersey in a diverse range of departments, she joins the business after completing the Jersey Post International Board apprentice programme last year.
Ms Tønsberg previously received a commendation in the Government’s Manager of the Year Awards in 2022, as well as introducing the island's first ever Foundation Safeguarding training whilst working for the Government's Local Safeguarding Partnership Board.
She was also seconded to States of Jersey Police, where she was Learning and Development Manager and supported the training and onboarding of the highest ever number of new recruits in lockdown of 2020.
Her appointment to Jersey Post Group comes after her most recent position in the Government's Cabinet Office, where she managed a portfolio of change and improvement projects commissioned by the Chief Minister and CEO.
