Law firm announces ten promotions

Tuesday 24 October 2017

Bedell Cristin has made ten promotions across its Guernsey and Jersey offices following the completion of its first year as a standalone independent law firm.

There were four promotions to Senior Associate level across both Islands: Jasmin Semlitsch in the litigation team in Guernsey; Will Austin-Vautier who specialises in employment law; Amy Fairfoull who was promoted within the financial services law team in Jersey; and Natalie Harris who focuses all aspects of Jersey property.

Other promotions include Donna Withers' new position of Head of Wills and Probate, Nicole Cox as Legal Assistant in litigation and Phillip Kendall as Legal Assistant in the financial services team.

Also within the Jersey property team, Jane Needham was promoted to Associate and two new lawyers, Jeff O'Boyle and Priya Jobanputra, have been recruited at Senior Associate and Associate level respectively.

From the support teams, David Panter has been promoted to Financial Controller and Eleanor Cousins has been promoted to Senior HR Manager.

David Cadin, Managing Partner, Bedell Cristin, commented: “It is pleasing to be able to recognise the achievements and expertise of colleagues with these promotions as we prepare for further growth in the months ahead. We are continuing to go from strength to strength since the sale of the trust company last year, and this round of promotions reflects both our confidence in the marketplace and the emphasis we place on the development of our people.”
