Mourant Ozannes has been shortlisted in the 'European Law Firm of the Year' category of the British Legal Awards (BLA), the only offshore law firm to be shortlisted in any category.
Hosted by Legal Week in association with The City of London Law Society, the awards ceremony later this month will be attended by 1,000 lawyers.
Mourant Ozannes Global Managing Partner Jonathan Rigby said: “The British Legal Awards are among the most coveted accolades in our industry. We are the only offshore law firm to be recognised and it is an honour to be independently endorsed alongside major names in the European legal sector. It is testament to the hard work of everyone at Mourant Ozannes, our truly 'one firm' approach and our relentless focus on client commitment."
An independent judging panel led by Alasdair Douglas, chairman of the City of London Law Society, decides the winners.
Mourant Ozannes was named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the BLA in 2013.
