Law firm-led professional services business Mourant has achieved nine team rankings – including six top tier rankings – in the 2024 edition of premier legal directory Chambers and Partners UK.
Chambers and Partners ranks the best law firms and solicitors currently operating in the UK legal market.
The 2024 edition includes rankings achieved by lawyers and teams in Mourant's Jersey, Guernsey and London offices in the areas of corporate and finance, investment funds, dispute resolution, employment law, commercial property and Cayman Islands law.
The legal directory also highlights individual talent, with Mourant lawyers achieving 35 individual rankings – including eight lawyers gaining top tier Band 1 recognition.
This year, five Mourant lawyers entered the UK rankings for the first time, and six lawyers moved up a tier within their practice areas.
A source quoted in the guide said: "Mourant is a first-class shop; not only do they deliver timely, commercial and accurate advice, but they do it through a team of genuinely nice people.

In July this year, Chambers UK's sister publication, the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide 2023, recognised the Mourant International Trusts and Private Client teams as leaders in their field. In these rankings, the firm's Jersey team demonstrated its market dominance by maintaining a Band 1 ranking in Offshore: Trusts.
Earlier this month, the Mourant Jersey and Guernsey teams achieved further success, being awarded 18 team rankings in the Legal 500 UK 2024 guide, 13 of which were Tier 1.
