HSBC has announced the appointment of a new CEO for its Channel Islands and Isle of Man business and its HSBC Expat brand, headquartered in Jersey.
Warwick Long is taking over the role from Emma Bunnell.
Mr Long joined HSBC 39 years ago, initially working in Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) and later transitioning to Commercial Banking (CMB).
In his most recent role, he served as the Head of CMB, UK Non-Ring-Fenced Bank, and International Europe. Before that, he held the position of Head of CMB, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man for over four years.
He has played a crucial role in driving transformation within the CMB business across various HSBC markets, including leading the UK Commercial Banking Financial Institution business and establishing the Innovation Bank in Israel.

Mr Long commented: “Our shared focus is on growing this strategically important part of HSBC’s business and supporting both our local and international - personal and commercial banking customers.
