New Facilities and Maintenance Manager for Sonnic

Sonnic Support Solutions has appointed a new Facilities and Maintenance Manager to head up a new department offering plumbing, electrical, fire and security, AC and ventilation and legionella management.

Chris Pinch, who moved to Jersey in 2007 after “falling in love with the island” following a two-week holiday, will be taking on the role.

Outlining his background, Mr Pinch explained: “Before moving to the island, I was a product manager for Currys and Dixons engineering partner ‘The Techguys’ here. I was responsible for 24 workshop based brown goods engineers, and warehouse function and a product store operation.

“I joined G4S Jersey as a Fire amd Security Engineer and quickly progressed back into management. 

“I then joined AFM and again quickly progress through various management roles, leading AC, fire and security and PPM departments before becoming the Hard Services Manager and then Senior Manager.” 

He added: “My new challenge is with Sonnic Support Solutions as their FM Manager where our goal is to offer a ‘one-stop-shop’ for our current and future clients by self-delivering our services where we can.

“Where we can’t, we use our trusted and reliable contractors who are vetted for H&S.”
