New Group Partner for Benest Corbett Renouf

Friday 06 May 2016

Paul Coleshill has joined law firm Benest Corbett Renouf as a Group Partner, with immediate effect.

Mr Coleshill, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (FCCA), joins the firm having left partnership in another professional services firm where he was Head of Local Business. He will also become the Chief Financial Officer of Benest Corbett Renouf.

He will direct the firm’s financial strategy and support each of the firm’s practice groups. His external focus will include the development of a separate service line to work with other Jersey-based businesses to offer virtual Financial Directorships and business support.

The appointment sees further growth at the firm, just a month after Wendy Lambert joined as a Partner at the beginning of April, enabling the practice to offer non-contentious work to complement its litigation, trust law and family law expertise.

David Benest, Managing Partner, said:  “I am delighted that Paul has joined us. His enormous experience in advising Jersey businesses and individuals, combined with his proven business development skills in the local marketplace, make him the ideal fit for the firm and wider group.  We are growing all the time and are now at the stage where we require Paul’s level of expertise to continue to drive the business forward.”

Mr Coleshill said: “I am so pleased to be joining Benest Corbett Renouf, as it is a law firm dedicated to serving the local business community in so many areas. I am also looking forward to facilitating the growth of the firm, especially by providing new strategy ideas for each of its practice areas.”
