New promotions and appointments at VG

VG has promoted two staff to Senior Trust Officer and Trust Administrator.

Aaron Smith and Tommy Ling will be taking on the new roles respectively.

Meanwhile, Matt Philpott has been appointed as Trust Administrator within the private wealth team, and Zach Ellam and Lewis Mold to Trainee Fund Administrators within the funds team.

VG has also strengthened its technology and compliance teams with the appointment of Gareth Ashby as Business Intelligence Solutions Developer and of Jessica Giraffa as a Compliance Administrator.

The series of appointments comes after VG saw a 225% increase in new business over the last financial year despite the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
