Boutique litigation firm JCKC Law has made two key appointments.
The firm has appointed Richard Humphreys KC as specialist Planning and Environmental Counsel and Arran Dowling Hussey as Construction Counsel to its associated business, the Chambers of James Corbett KC.
Mr Humphreys has advised on Jersey planning law and related issues since the early 1990s, including the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002 and the Island Plan.
Mr Dowling Hussey, a member of the Society of Construction Law, is an experienced barrister and arbitrator, whose practice includes advising on commercial, construction, alternative dispute resolution and international matters.
James Corbett said: "I am delighted that Richard and Arran have joined the Chambers of James Corbett KC. They both have a wealth of expertise in their respective fields which are highly topical in Jersey.
"I hope that their experience and perspective will assist in the swift resolution of many Jersey construction and planning disputes, and I look forward to working with them."
