Rathbones Investment Management International has appointed a new Client Development Director.

Peter Musker will report directly to recently promoted Richard Gomersall, Head of Client Development.

Recognised in the Citywealth Future Leaders Top 100 list, Mr Musker has 14 years’ wealth management experience predominantly working with private clients and professional intermediaries.

He relocated to Jersey in 2009 with Capita Asset Management Limited before joining Jersey Finance where he promoted Jersey’s financial services industry in Asia, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Most recently he was Head of Trustee Solutions for Brooks Macdonald International.

In his new role, Mr Musker will be primarily responsible for continued growth in Rathbones’ trustee and professional intermediary client base.

A member of STEP, CISI and CIM, Mr Musker also holds the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Certificate in International Trust Management, the Chartered Institute of Marketing Postgraduate diploma in Analysis and Decision Making and Managing Corporate Reputation, and a Business and Marketing degree.

Rathbones’ Managing Director in Jersey, Jonathan Giles, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Peter to the team. He has a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with professional trustees, family offices and private clients across the Channel Islands and UK.
