Ogier celebrates trainees' graduation

Thursday 13 October 2022

Ogier has two newly-qualified solicitors after they completed the law firm's training programme.

Chloe Gill and Tobi Oluborode successfully completed Ogier's two-year training scheme, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

It sees trainees take on up to four seats, including time in litigation, the Professional Skills Course and an experiential litigation course that includes a mock trial.

Chloe originally joined Ogier as a bursary student in 2018, working in both the corporate and property teams. She began the trainee solicitor programme in 2020.

Her previous supervisor, senior associate Diana Collas, from the Guernsey Corporate team, said: "We are delighted that Chloe has qualified with Ogier... She will no doubt be an asset to the firm and in particular the Guernsey Dispute Resolution team which she joins as an associate."

Tobi joined Ogier in 2019 as a paralegal in the Corporate team before starting the training programme in 2020.

His previous supervisor, managing associate Chris Hards, from the Guernsey Private Wealth team, said: "It was a pleasure to have Tobi in the Private Wealth team for the last few months of his training contract...apart from his academic credentials, Tobi is also a hugely positive and enthusiastic person to have around. I am delighted that he will be staying with Ogier."
