A Visit Jersey marketing campaign that brought a Jersey sunset to a London pub has been nominated for a prestigious industry award.
The 2018 International Travel and Tourism Awards' 'Best Digital Campaign' prize recognises organisations within the travel industry that successfully use digital technologies - particularly mobile technology and social media - to market their products or services.
Visit Jersey's ‘Shoreditch to Shoreline’ campaign is amongst the nominees.
It saw a Jersey sunset streamed live into a pub in Shoreditch in London, with reactions filmed and a social video produced to highlight the difference between having a sundowner in London compared to Jersey.

Visit Jersey said: "Our brand proposition ‘the island break’ offers a fresh, vital escape from city living and what better way to capture this than with a perfect Jersey sunset, streamed from shoreline to trendy Shoreditch. This prestigious nomination celebrates the hard work of the Visit Jersey team and island partners to help the world fall in love with Jersey."
The award will be announced at the awards ceremony at World Travel Market in London next Tuesday.
