Visit Jersey’s ‘Staycation Domination’ campaign and wider marketing efforts have gained national recognition.

It received the ‘Public Sector Award’ at the PRCA DARE Awards, whilst Visit Jersey is also shortlisted for a further five awards at the Travel Marketing Awards 2022.

Visit Jersey, the company which promotes tourism to and within Jersey, has been recognised nationally for its marketing and PR campaigns at the recent PRCA DARE Awards which were judged by a panel of industry experts in London on 30 June 2022.

Together with their agency One Green Bean, Visit Jersey received the Public Sector Award for the outstanding ‘Staycation Domination’ PR campaign, which garnered national media coverage of Jersey as an appealing holiday destination right on the doorstep for islanders and UK visitors alike.

Visit Jersey’s efforts have also earned the organisation spots on the shortlist for five different awards at the upcoming Travel Marketing Awards 2022, including Travel Brand of the Year and Best Advertising Campaign, Website/Microsite, Integrated Campaign, and PR.

Taking place on 11 July in London, The Travel Marketing Awards are a key event on the travel and tourism marketing calendar, celebrating excellence and original, creative, innovative, and relevant travel marketing.

Celebrating the accolades, Visit Jersey CEO Amanda Burns said: "I'm delighted that Visit Jersey’s efforts to raise the island’s profile have been recognised nationally, and immensely proud of the passionate and hard-working Visit Jersey team.

"Tourism not only supports local businesses and delivers economic benefits, but it also provides essential connectivity for our community, drives Jersey’s reputation around the world, and enhances quality of life for all.”

The recent awards news follows a string of ‘wins’ for the Visit Jersey team this year, including Best Influencer Campaign at the TravelMole UK Web Awards in March, which recognised the success of Visit Jersey’s Little Red Squirrel Count campaign with conservationist Ben Fogle and the National Trust for Jersey.
