Workplace social media masterclass!

Offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes will be joined by one of the UK's leading employment law specialists, Michael Duggan QC, to speak to Channel Island employers about the importance of managing social media in the workplace next week.

The Social Media Masterclasses, hosted by Mourant Ozannes' employment law experts, take place in Guernsey and Jersey on Wednesday 9 September and will deliver important guidance on protecting businesses from employee misuse of social media.

Michael Duggan QC has acted on employment law matters of this kind and he regularly provides commentary on cases involving the use of social media in the workplace. His recent paper on 'Social Medial offensive or inappropriate posts' provides a summary of recent employment appeal tribunal and high court cases along with his interpretation of principles to be drawn from them.
