Job Purpose:

TMF is looking for an experienced policy and procedures writer and trainer to join its team in Jersey to support its pan-Channel Island service lines.

Working directly with Directors, Managers and Compliance/AML teams of the Trust Company Business (TCB) and Fund Services Business (FSB) you will help to rationalise, consolidate and evolve a full suite of policy and procedures across the Channel Islands businesses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, revise and draft policies and procedures across the Channel Islands business ensuring effectiveness, consistency and practically applicable adherence to regulatory and legal requirements;

  • Review existing procedures to identify areas for revision and take appropriate action to progress these;

  • Communicate with Subject matter Experts to align key policies and procedures to BAU activities with relevant key stakeholders;

  • Deliver training to employees as relevant on Policy and Procedures; and

  • Provide admin support to the Policy and Procedures team.


Key knowledge and experience:

  • Practical experience of working in a TCB and/or FSB environment;

  • Experience of drafting with strong attention to detail and the ability write clearly and succinctly in plain English;

  • Experience in drafting and delivering training to all employee levels on Policy and Procedural requirements;

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders;  

  • Ability to work pro-actively and autonomously;

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English;

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both senior and junior staff;

  • Analytical mindset and ability to anticipate the practical application of procedures.
