A unique opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong Lawyer to join the banking and finance team in a market-leading legal organisation.

Working along leading practitioners, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth of the practice to help the company achieve their aim of becoming the leading practice in the region.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively assisting in developing and expanding client relationships and business development initiatives 

  • Providing sound technical advice to clients 

  • Supporting colleagues, senior counsel and Partners on all client matters 

  • Actively participating in conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal training 

  • Adhering to values and professional ethics at all times 

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified Lawyer with 7 years finance post-qualification experience 

  • Strong academic background

  • Ambitious and commercially driven 

  • Solid legal skills with an appropriate understanding of relevant market and client industries and technical knowledge of the relevant law

  • Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment, a team player, willing to support others

  • Jersey jurisdiction experience and/or familiarity with offshore financial service providers would be an advantage but is not essential
