One of the UK’s most successful ever sportsmen, 16-times World Darts Champion Phil Taylor, will be targeting Jersey in December to share the story of his career.
Recently-retired, and affectionately known as 'The Power' after helping catapult the traditional pub game into an international spectacle, Taylor will hit the island on the 14 of the month at the Mayfair Hotel.
The evening event will include a three-course dinner, with 'The Power' promising to showcase his skills, giving guests a taste of the atmosphere of a night at the darts.
He will also chart his rise to success in a talk, and dish the details of what he really thinks of his rivals. Islanders will also get to quiz the legendary star on it during a Q&A session.

Having retired from the sport in January’s after World Championship final, Taylor said: “I’m really looking forward to the event in Jersey. This is what my retirement year is all about, visiting different places and meeting new people. Jersey is a lovely place and I’m excited about the chance to go there.
"I now enjoy looking back on my career, which I didn’t do during it because I was always looking to the next tournament. I can’t wait to meet the guests and share my story with them. It will be a really special evening."
