A Blue Islands plane declared an emergency and was forced to return to Jersey on Wednesday morning after its landing gear became stuck.
The aircraft had just departed to Exeter at about 09:30 when the pilot reported that the gear could not be raised.
In a statement, Ports of Jersey said: "There was an emergency declared this morning [Wednesday] when the landing gear of a departing ATR aircraft (the SI2206 to Exeter) became stuck and could not be raised.
"The plane turned back and landed safely in Jersey at 09:39."
