More than 30,000 people are estimated to have visited this year’s Jersey Boat show as it returned for the first time in three years.

As temperatures soared, people flocked to the Barclays-sponsored event at the newly refurbished St. Helier Marina and Weighbridge Place to enjoy the offerings of more than 80 exhibitors including marine traders, emergency services, food providers and cocktail-makers.

Attendees were also able to enjoy an array of activities and amusements, ranging from musical performances at the Solent Stevedores stage to bouncy castles by the Steam Clock, an active zone at Albert Pier and a multitude of yachts and watercraft on the pontoons.

"The sun came out and so did the crowds," reflected Harbourmaster Captain Bill Sadler on behalf of Ports of Jersey, who organised the event.

"...We're overwhelmed by the fantastic response we've had, both by those taking part, and those who came along to support the event.

"It's great to be back and I would like to personally thank everyone involved in helping us make it happen again, especially the organising team at Ports of Jersey, as well as our colleagues for their enthusiasm and commitment."
