The number of islanders officially confirmed to have died with covid-19 has hit 12.
Published yesterday at 14:15, the government’s testing statistics release showed a rise of nine on the previous week.
245 islanders were confirmed to have the illness, with 1,810 tests returning a negative result and 37 pending.
The figures came as calls for a more detailed breakdown of the patient numbers continue to grow.
Many islanders have urged the government to follow the example of Guernsey, whose breakdowns have included the ages of the youngest and oldest people to have been infected, and revealed that around 40% of cases and all deaths on the island have been linked with care homes.
Jersey’s government was last week due to publish recovery statistics, but the figures are still yet to appear on the dedicated covid-19 web page.
