Tuesday 25 July 2023

A cyclist was left in need of hospital treatment after a collision with a bus last week, Police officers have said in an appeal for more information.

The crash was reported to have taken place last Monday (17 July) outside Liberation Station.

"At approximately 17:15, a collision occurred between a male cyclist and the No. 23 bus outside the bus station at Stand O/J," the Force said in a statement.

"The cyclist, in his 50s, sustained an elbow injury which he required hospital treatment for."

Police officers would now like to speak with anyone who saw what happened or who may have more information.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 612612 or make an anonymous report via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their online form.
