Fancy exhibiting your art in France?

Young Jersey artists and musicians are once again being invited to showcase their work on the streets of France this spring.

The Jersey Arts Trust is partnering with Forum des Arts for the fourth year running to send some talented local artists on an all expenses paid trip to St. Malo to take part in the city’s three-day arts festival.

The Forum des Arts sees hundreds of amateur and professional young artists taking to the city’s historic streets to take part in performances, concerts, workshops and exhibitions.

The event from 6 to 8 May has been running annually since 2003 to promote the work of young artists between 15 and 35 and give them a chance to network.

Jersey Arts Trust Director Tom Dingle said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with Forum des Arts. Due to the strength of work from previous Jersey exhibitors who have taken part, the organisers would like to again specially extend the invitation to Jersey Artists.

“It’s a great opportunity for young Artists to meet their European counterparts and also to exhibit their work to an entirely new audience.”

Registration forms can be downloaded here and artists have until Friday 12 February to apply with photos of their work.
