Sunday 26 January 2020

A 33-year-old man has pleaded guilty to importing 137g of cocaine into Jersey.

Lewis Sheppard appeared in the Royal Court this week where he admitted one charge of importing the Class A drug.

The offence took place on 16 November last year at the Jersey Airport and involved 136.91g of the drug.

Advocate Michael Haines represented Sheppard and, entering his client’s ‘guilty’ plea, told the Court that both he and the prosecution had reached an agreement about the circumstances of the offending.
