A 45-year-old man has pleaded guilty to attacking a prison officer at HMP La Moye.
Christopher Henry Hall committed the offence on 22 August 2019.
He appeared before the Royal Court on Friday, facing one charge of grave and criminal assault.
His lawyer, Advocate Luke Sette, entered a guilty plea on his behalf.
Hall will be sentenced on 6 March.
Advocate Sette requested a social enquiry report and a psychological report to be produced to help with the sentencing.
