Update: Police on mum's nightmare case

Thursday 11 December 2014

Police are scouring CCTV footage of what clubbers were up to on Friday night to try and track down some car keys and put an end to one mum’s nightmare.

Jacquee Eve has been struggling to get out and about with her toddler twins since the weekend when her coat and only set of car keys went missing from the Havana Club in Halkett Street.

Officers are now reviewing the club’s CCTV to see who took Jacquee’s distinctive pale blue hooded coat that she’d left on a chair to go and have a quick dance with her sister who was visiting her from Kenya.

Jacquee put out her own appeal on social media to try and persuade the culprit to hand the keys in to police.

She’s offering a reward for anyone who spots her coat because the make and model of her car is proving so costly for her to get a new set made.

Jacquee has had to get her car towed out of town this week and is now reliant on the buses and says the whole ordeal has been a nightmare.

Posting on Facebook she said: "Without the key it's given me a host of other hardships & complications which I wouldn't wish on anyone!"
