Motorcyclist injured in “serious” St. John crash

A motorcyclist is being treated in hospital after a “serious” crash in St. John caused by their vehicle clipping the curb.

Police say the orange motorbike was travelling south down La Rue de la Mare Ballam from the direction direction of St. John when it hit the offside curb, causing it to crash.

The rider was taken to hospital where he is still being treated. No other vehicles were mentioned as being involved.

The crash caused the road to be closed between La Rue de la Scelletterie and La Rue de la Golarde.

Police are now appealing for information on what they’re describing as a “serious road traffic collision” and would like to hear from witnesses.
