Skiers will be able to fly direct to the "gateway" to the French Alps from Jersey this winter.
In partnership with Channel Islands tour operator Allez Ski, Blue Islands will be operating weekly flights to Grenoble in France, departing every Saturday from 21 December 2024 until 15 February 2025.
“We have been proudly partnering with Allez Ski to provide its charter flights from Jersey and Guernsey to the slopes since 2018. Whether it’s Christmas, New Year, February half-term, or prime skiing in January or early February, we’re excited to increase to a nine-week season of direct flights to Grenoble this winter, and offer a flight-only option," Rob Veron, CEO Blue Islands said.
“Blue Islands has operated many ad-hoc ski charter flights to Grenoble but the airport is especially looking forward to welcoming Jersey skiers on a weekly service from this coming winter season," Director of Grenoble Airport, Pierre Marnotte, added.
“This means more islanders than ever will now be able to benefit from direct flights to our 'gateway to the Alps'.”
