Two local families received a very special festive gift this year.
Olivia was born at 01:51 on Monday morning in Jersey General Hospital’s maternity ward.
The little girl was the only baby to be born in the island on Christmas day this year.
Olivia's father spoke to Express and confirmed that mother and baby were both doing well, and that the family had made it home for a late Christmas lunch.
He said: "We were expecting her to be born sometime around Christmas, but for her to be born on Christmas day was a good surprise and super present."

The new dad also thanked the kindness and "superb" support from the maternity team and welcomed the "amazing Christmas spirit".
Olivia's father added that the family would have to "wait and see" to find out how his daughter would feel about sharing a birthday with Christmas day.
"It was a bundle of joy for a special day," he added.
And she wasn't the only bundle of joy to arrive.
