Passengers arriving at the airport in the coming days are in for a treat – with a warm welcome from local choirs performing live festive music.
Taking place in the Arrivals Lounge during what is expected to be one of the busiest travel periods of the year, Guernsey Ports said the performances aim to create a warm and memorable welcome for travellers, while also raising money for local charities.
But the welcome isn’t only for passengers – members of the public are also invited to stop and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere and support the charitable collections.
“We hope the initiative will not only spread Christmas cheer but also highlight the important work of local charities at one of the island’s busiest times of year,” David Buddery, Commercial Development Project Manager, said.
