SUBMISSIONS OPEN: The Guernsey Arts Gourmet
To celebrate the launch of The Big Eat, Guernsey Arts is serving up a brand new exhibition: The Guernsey Arts Gourmet!
We’re inviting artists to submit work inspired by Guernsey produce… from still lifes of our famous dairy to chefs in action, and everything in between.
Selected works will be exhibited in our gallery, and all submissions will be featured online & on our socials.
You can submit your artwork via Google forms, with a £10 entry fee applying to artworks selected for the gallery, payable on delivery. This helps support the running of the exhibition.

OPEN CALL: Liberation Day Tea Tent Takeover
The Liberation Day Organising Committee in partnership with Guernsey Arts is inviting DJs, artists or performers to take over the Tea Tent on Crown Pier for the evening as part of this year’s Liberation Day celebrations.
While live bands will light up the Albert Pier stage, the Tea Tent could offer a space for something different…
From DJ or club-style sets to acoustic or unplugged music, theatre, comedy or interactive experiences – the options are endless. The team are especially keen to hear from acts that resonate with 18–30-year-olds.
What’s on offer: a venue in the centre of the celebrations for up to 150 people, full creative freedom to shape the evening, and the option to ticket the event.

THE BEAT – BACK IN GUERNSEY
They’re back! This Saturday the 11th of April from 8pm, the incredible ‘The Beat’, ft Ranking Junior, are heading to St James for more good times and busy dancefloors!
The ground-breaking ska-pop outfit behind huge hits like Mirror in The Bathroom, Too Nice to Talk To and Hands Off… She’s Mine are bringing their own distinctive, individual style and sound to the St James stage this April.
If you saw them last time, you know you’ll be back. If you missed them last time, you won;t want to miss out again.

Spring Artisan Market
Join the wonderful team at the Folk and Costume Museum for a Spring Artisan Market on Sunday 12th April, from 10am until 4pm.
This vibrant market will be held in the beautiful courtyard of the National Trust of Guernsey’s Folk & Costume Museum, nestled in the heart of Saumarez Park. This special event celebrates and supports local artisans in a truly charming heritage setting.
Browse a range of artisan stalls, enjoy homemade cakes and bakes, and relax with teas and coffees throughout the day. There will also be courtyard games for children, making it a fun and welcoming outing for all ages. Free entry for everyone. All proceeds support the Guernsey Folk & Costume Museum
This is a free, access-friendly event, open to all, and easily accessible via bus routes 41 and 42.
Come along, support local makers, and enjoy a spring day surrounded by Guernsey’s heritage.
An Evening with Harry Borden – One of the UK’s top Celebrity Portrait Photographers
Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association are delighted to share a very special event: ‘An Evening with Harry Borden’, one of the UK’s top Celebrity Portrait Photographers.
Even if Harry’s name is new to you, his work won’t be. With more than 100 of his portraits held in the National Portrait Gallery in London, his portfolio features some of the world’s most recognisable celebrities, such as Oasis, the Spice Girls, Robin Williams and Richard Branson.
During the evening, Harry will share the stories behind these remarkable portraits, along with insights into the personal projects that continue to inspire his creative journey. It’s a rare chance to step into the world of a photographer who excels at revealing the humanity behind the lens.
Whether you’re passionate about photography or simply enjoy an engaging and fun night out, this promises to be a memorable event.
