Adorned: A Body of Work by Kaya Ozard
Next up in the Guernsey Arts Greenhouse Gallery is a wonderful exhibition by another talented local artist and tattooist, Kaya Ozard. Opening to the public this Friday the 30th October, the exhibition will run until the end of 2026.
The showcase presents a body of personal artwork by Kaya, bringing together work developed beyond the tattoo studio and offering an opportunity to experience Kaya’s artistic practice in a dedicated gallery setting.
Educated on island at the College of Further Education, Kaya returned to Guernsey in 2017 after completing a degree in fine art at Central Saint Martins in London. She creates across various mediums, with work varying from tattooing and painting to drawing and sculpture.
This exhibition marks Kaya’s first solo show.
As a tattoo artist, Kaya’s creative practice is closely connected to the body, line, form and personal expression. This exhibition provides a different context for that practice, allowing the work to exist independently on the gallery wall and inviting audiences to consider the ideas, imagery and processes behind it.
The gallery is open from 10am-4pm. Normal museum admission applies – free for discovery pass holders.

RBO presents: Manon
End your weekend right, with this wonderful screening of The Royal Ballet’s ‘Manon’, taking place at the PRCPA this Sunday the 1st of November!
In the seedy underbelly of 18th-century Paris, money is king. Nothing is sacred – even love itself can be bought for the right price. A native of this hedonistic underworld, Manon is caught between twin desires when she falls in love with the student Des Grieux. Steadfast and devoted, he offers the possibility of an honourable life. Yet, the riches promised by the world of Parisian society remain tempting…
Manon’s inner turmoil and struggle for survival lie at the devastating heart of Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel. In this signature work of The Royal Ballet, MacMillan’s nuanced understanding of human psychology makes for an unflinching look into the moral degradation of Manon’s Paris, while all its decadence and decay are brought to life through Jules Massenet’s score and Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs.
