The North Show is one of Guernsey’s most cherished and enduring annual events, deeply ingrained in the island’s communal calendar.

Held annually in August, the vibrant agricultural and community show brings together traditional rural life with modern entertainment.

Organisers have now named their headline sponsor for 2025 with Citizens Advice Guernsey winning the honour for 2025.

This year’s show will be taking place at Saumarez Park on 20th and 21st August 2025.

CAG was named as headline sponsor following a “hugely successful sponsorship draw” which saw more than 40 local businesses donate £250 each to support the iconic summer event.

The draw ended up raising more than £10,000 for this year’s show.

CAG is a local charity which offers free, confidential, and impartial advice. It will take centre stage this summer as the event’s primary sponsor, giving the charity a chance to spread awareness of its vital work, while also supporting one of the island’s most cherished traditions.

Ali Marquis, CEO of CAG, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to be drawn as this year’s Headline Sponsor. The North Show holds a special place in the hearts of many islanders, and to be associated with such a community-driven celebration is a true honour.

Ms Marquis continued: “It’s a fantastic platform for us to highlight the work we do and to connect with the public in a fun, inclusive way.”

Meanwhile, Jonathan Dell, Chairman of CAG, added: “Our charity has supported the people of Guernsey for over 40 years, and this sponsorship aligns perfectly with our values of community, inclusion, and service.

Mr Dell continued: “We look forward to being involved in what promises to be a brilliant North Show and extend our thanks to the organisers for running such a creative and generous initiative.”

The Vice-President and Show Manager of the North Show, Josh Cotran-Gabriel,  commented: “We were overwhelmed by the level of support from local businesses this year – it really shows how much affection the island has for the North Show.

He added: “Congratulations to Citizens Advice Guernsey – a truly deserving organisation. We look forward to working closely with them to deliver another unforgettable event this August.”
