The North Show is offering businesses a unique opportunity to be its headline sponsor this year – by effectively entering a raffle.
With the event set to take place on 20 and 21 August, organisers are looking for a new headline sponsor to help bring the show to life.
To achieve this, they are inviting 50 local businesses to pledge £250 each.
On 31st May 2025, the name of one entrant will be drawn at random, winning a sponsorship package worth significantly more than the initial contribution.
Josh Cotran-Gabriel, the Show Manager and Vice President of The North Show said it’s a new way of raising funds for one of the island’s longest running and most popular events.
“This is an incredible chance for a local business to elevate its brand, gaining major exposure at one of Guernsey’s most celebrated summer events. We wanted to find an engaging way to offer businesses – large or small – the opportunity to support the show while also being in with a chance of securing top-tier sponsorship.”
North Show organisers say the winning business will enjoy high-profile branding throughout the show, extensive media coverage, and prime promotional opportunities to showcase their brand to thousands of attendees.
The North Show has been a staple of Guernsey’s calendar for more than 100 years, delighting visitors with its thrilling entertainment, vibrant atmosphere, and, of course, the spectacular Battle ofFlowers parade.
The headline sponsor plays a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success and will be recognised as a key supporter of this cherished island tradition.
Local businesses keen to take part are encouraged to sign up quickly, as only 50 places are
available.
